Family support
In collaboration with Connect Marrickville School As A Community, we continued to support Inner West Vietnamese families. It was heartwarming to see parents and children working side by side, creating beautiful memories and learning from one another. These moments of connection are what make our community so special.
Women’s support
In collaboration with Leichardt Women’s Community Health Centre and Heartdancers organisation, we provided 1,178 hours of emotional support and wellbeing activities, as well as 48 transport trips, to 39 vulnerable women from CALD backgrounds in 2024 -2025.
Filling Gaps for New & Emerging Communities
New migrants with Nepalese and Vietnamese backgrounds Project
In 2024 – 2025, we assisted 119 newly arrived Nepali- and Vietnamese-speaking migrants by providing 26 workshops totalling 1,103 hours of services to reduce social isolation, foster connections, and support their smooth settlement.
Gambling Education and Awareness Project
In 2024-2025, we collaborated with 25 partners to implement gambling harm awareness initiatives for Nepalese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Italian community members. Our team conducted 23 community workshops, forums and engagement sessions, engaging 488 participants. Additionally, 423 Gambling Harm Help-Seeking Resource cards were distributed to interested individuals.
