Community Projects

Family support

in collaboration with Connect Marrickville School As Community, we maintained the support to Inner West Vietnamese families – 1,480 service hours face-to-face provided to 47 families with 91 people (parents and under five year-old children).

Women’s support

in collaboration with Leichardt Women’s Community Health Centre and Heartdancers organisation, we have provided emotional support and mental health wellbeing to vulnerable CALD women – 2,446 service hours delivered to 50 women.

Supporting Newly Arrived Migrants in the Inner West LGA

Assisted 84 newly arrived Nepali- and Vietnamese-speaking migrants by providing 6,552 hours of services to reduce social isolation, foster connections, and support their smooth settlement.

Community education and engagement

with CALD communities – 1,726 hours engaged with 1,397 community members. 

Gambling Education and Awareness Project

Funded by the NSW Government through the Community Benefit Payment Scheme

In 2023-2024, we collaborated with 15 partners to implement gambling harm awareness initiatives for three multicultural communities—Nepali, Portuguese, and Vietnamese speakers. During this reporting period, the team conducted 27 community workshops, forums and engagement sessions, engaging 738 participants. Additionally, 665 Gambling Harm Help-Seeking Resource cards were distributed to interested individuals.
